The property owners in the neighborhood are members of the Cherokee Point Owners Association (CPOA). A Board of Directors, consisting of five members, is elected to conduct the business of the Association. The board meets several times a year and special meetings may be called as required. There is an annual meeting of the membership each year where Association business is discussed, finances reviewed and decisions are made that concern the community. Within the neighborhood, the Association keeps the roads in good repair, grooms the entrance and common areas, maintains the gate and other duties as required.
